fuse on os x
Saturday, January 13th, 2007until yesterday there has been a feature i was missing soooo often in os x: the ability to mount a directory on a remote host via ssh. i searched a lot on the net. a real lot. as i knew fuse on linux, i couldn’t believe there was a mac port of it. but definitely no way.
as said before: until yesterday. yesterday was the day when amit singh (author of the great book “Mac OS X Internals: A Systems Approach”) made his port macfuse “A FUSE-Compliant File System Implementation Mechanism for Mac OS X” vailable to the public. go and get it: http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/
