ableton live 8 public beta started!

yeah, i know, i know, i’m excited, and i’m biased… but is it a surprise after those outstanding announcements ableton made during the NAMM?
however, earlier than expected the first very limited but public beta round of Live 8 already started yesterday evening! ableton tends to initiate betas with a small circle of testers, like a few hundred first – usually they post a sign up link – first come, first serve, and after squashing more and more bugs they open up the circle until they reach a state where it goes completely public. the user reactions in the ableton forum sound totally positive for now, i guess the NAMM announcements have not just been a strange dream…
