keyboard shortcut bricking your APC40

that’s a nice one:

there’s a keyboard shortcut you can use while firing up an APC40 that lets you delete the firmware.
trust me, you don’t want to try this with your own. without the firmware this thing does not do much at all :)

and as the firmware is not available as a download, mighty AKAI support will ask you to send in your device and will fix it for you.

just remember my words next time you’re suffering from annoying live gigs – you can shut them down for days :-)
